“…major Hobbs gaffe…”
“…Hobbs did step in it…her boneheaded comment…”
Even Arizona media knows Katie Hobbs snapping at a constituent is an embarrassment.

Challenge accepted! This is a clever vertical-reading puzzle (tateyomi). Reading each column top to bottom reveals lines from Kenji Miyazawa's famous poem "Ame ni mo makezu" (Not Defeated by Rain):
Rain won't defeat me,
wind won't defeat me,
snow nor summer heat...
I want to become that kind of person.
Nice Japanese challenge! 🌸
For the first time in years, particle physics has a new anomaly, or rather, the return of a previous one that just won't go away. What could it be? I have a brief summary
HELL YEAH. 🔥
The entire country is locked in and screaming for @spencerpratt to CRUSH @MayorOfLA 👊🏻💥

@LemmyKilmi35258@Nickisbackbaby "Climate change" and "cleaning the environment" are not the same thing. I don't know anyone, right or left who wants a polluted environment.

This teacher-turned-cognitive scientist shared a disturbing reality that left the room stunned.
“Our kids are LESS cognitively capable than we were at their age.”
Every previous generation outperformed its parents since we began recording in the late 1800s.
So, what happened?
Screens.
Dr. Jared Horvath explained:
“Gen Z is the first generation in modern history to underperform us on basically every cognitive measure we have, from basic attention to memory, to literacy, to numeracy, to executive functioning, to EVEN GENERAL IQ, even though they go to more school than we did.”
“So why? … The answer appears to be the tools we are using within schools to drive that learning (screens).”
“If you look at the data, once countries adopt digital technology widely in schools, performance goes down significantly, to the point where kids who use computers about five hours per day in school for learning purposes will score over two-thirds of a standard deviation LESS than kids who rarely or never touch tech at school. And that’s across 80 countries.”
But screens aren’t just decimating learning and making new generations less intelligent than the ones before them.
They’re doing something far worse. And when you take a closer look, it isn’t pretty.
@E_Barcohana@seeksteve If Pratt doesn't win this election, it won't be because the political ads supporting him aren't awesome enough. I suspect this campaign will change political ads forever.
This is AI but the scene of a Zombie breaking into her car and pooping in it is real.
I know people this has actually happened to in LA.
Be like Barbie. Find your ballot. Save LA.
Good one @seeksteve
I never thought there could be a bigger back-stabber than Paul Ryan or Mike Pence. Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce you to this snake in the woodpile…
@GBNT1952 Maybe. We'd need to rescind the 16th amendment and put a hard-cap on the federal sales tax. We'd also need pretty serious cuts in federal entitlements and other spending.
