The taliban won . All Muslim countries have relations with them even tho they don't recognize thier legitimacy on paper . Russia recognizes them as Afghanistan legitimate government. The USA invasion ended with the taliban in charge and stronger than ever

Watching every Afghan embassy in all the countries I visited and lived in slowly be handed over to the Taliban was one of the most soul-crushing things I experienced.

she is tho, her logic is the same reasoning white conservatives have against immigration too, that brown men = rapists and murderers, ignoring the fact that that obviously isnt true and that misogyny isn’t inherent to one culture or society. obviously no one wants rapists in their society but the claim thar any country was once safe for women is incredibly dishonest and rooted in racism and white supremacy.
