Our response to the @theIPCinfo snapshot, published May 12, 2025: Even according to the IPC’s own analysis, there is no famine in Gaza. 📍The phrase "facing famine" is misleading, as it refers to future scenarios projected by the IPC that have repeatedly failed to materialize since the start of the war and are based on assumptions that have been proven inaccurate and alarmist time and again. Some other points to consider: 📍The IPC once again publishes alarming findings without releasing the underlying data or analysis. This lack of transparency has been a persistent feature the IPC's reporting on Gaza, in contravention of its declared principles and official guidelines. 📍The IPC’s projections have consistently failed to predict the reality on the ground, consistently projecting scnearios that are far worse than what actually happened. 📍The IPC's methodology and approach to analyzing food security data in Gaza contain serious flaws. Israel published detailed analyses of those failures that the IPC has never responded to. 📍The IPC also fails to account for the massive volume of aid, especially food, that entered Gaza during the ceasefire – a critical omission. 📍Importantly, IPC does not collect data independently; they rely heavily on @UN sources, which during the ceasefire period reflected only about a third of the actual humanitarian aid that entered Gaza.

Expel each and every one of them.
