Kukis reacted by killing, burning & bulldozing Meitei homes and drove out all Meiteis from districts where they are in majority. An errant Manipur Police Head Constable was suspended for investigation and they reacted by burning the police station, ransacked the mini secretariat, burnt DC office and his residence & even issued death threats to the SP. It is beyond belief and imagination how disproportionate the act and the reaction is. There is a force instigating violence from the background - encouraging and supporting. Dear @IPS_Association This is the current SP of Churachandpur sometime back in the same town, trying to explain the rules of the law to the #Kukis. How brave and articulate!
