After 3 months of the Attacks of October 7th, most of the world has moved on and discarded the attacks as old news or an “overblown event”. But in Israel, October 7th never leaves, never gets old, and is still hurting. Everyone in Israel was affected, some much more than other, but we are ALL changed by these attacks. Just as the world has stopped caring about what Hamas did to us on October 7th, we stopped caring about their opinion and we’ve stopped asking for forgiveness for trying to live our lives in peace in our country. We will win this war. We will beat Hamas, even if this mean dismantling every building in Gaza. The first 4 you listed ARE genocide by definition. The next 3 didn’t happen so it’s easy to play the “what if” game when it’s fantasy. The last one isn’t even possible, Hamas doesn’t have the capability to commit genocide, but Israel does, and Israel is. If Hamas has the desire to genocide Jews rather than just end the occupation, do you think it’s ok to genocide someone who you think wants to genocide you? Do you think had Hitler sought to expel some Jews into different countries and warned those he killed in advance of their death so they could run, do you think that somehow absolves him of genocide?

Read @DouglasKMurray's article, which is an essential reading of the cynical use of every single civilian in Gaza as a tool of war. What struck me was the cover photo of a truck used by someone who worked in Eilat (in Israel) as an installer of electric gates and pergolas. People used to come in and out of Gaza to work every day. Today we know that many of these workers took advantage of this by mapping out towns and communities so that they could carry out the October 7 attacks. No more. So long as Ham🫏 uses elderly women in wheelchairs to lure a well-meaning IDF soldier only to have a sniper fire at him from under the wheelchair. So long as they pay 13-year-old children 5 shekels to throw bags containing explosives at soldiers. So long as up to HALF of the homes in Gaza use the children's rooms to hide weapons or provide entry points to tunnels. So long as they use places they know IDF can't touch like mosques, hospitals, schools, and UN facilities. So long as they systematically raped and murdered hundreds of women on October 7 and plan to do it repeatedly. The world has absolutely NO RIGHT to get angry at us when we make suspected terrorists strip down to their underwear under the well-deserved suspicion that they are hiding explosives under their clothing.
