Your national ID, your medical records, your bank account, your child’s school file, every government service you will ever touch. All of it will run on the system being built right now under “Maldives 2.0.” Citizens have not been consulted. The full plan is not public. There is no way to comment on it. The site lists 8 pillars and initiatives like “draft amendments”, “unclear milestones” and “review implementation,” but the document is missing timelines, owners, budgets, and measurable outcomes, meaning no one can be held accountable when delivery fails. This is a table of contents dressed up as a strategy. @presidencymv Citizens elected HEP @MMuizzu on a Maldives First mandate, the single defining promise this government has to deliver. Yet Maldives 2.0 appears modelled on European digital governance experience, excluding the Maldivians who actually build, operate, and secure systems in this country. UNDP’s June 2025 assessment independently confirmed this gap. HEP @MMuizzu has pledged that the digital economy will contribute 15% of GDP by 2030. That target cannot be hit by a whole-of-government approach alone, because the government lacks the in-house capacity and no country has ever built a digital economy without its local innovators co-designing it. Without the ecosystem at the table, the outcome is predictable: the Maldives stays an import economy, never becomes an export economy, and never produces a single tech unicorn. The 15% pledge becomes a slogan. Is this what the government’s own manifesto stands for? Excluding the very builders and talent the ecosystem depends on? Speaking personally, we have already given up hope. @Synetecs, recognised as Startup of the Year at MSME 2025, is now a Delaware, US-registered startup focused globally. We hold active engagements with global manufacturers, yet at home there is no seat at the table to raise concerns or contribute expertise. This is the last plea: listen, and deliver. We want what is best for this ecosystem. Otherwise we leave, and we build elsewhere. The fix is not another workshop or summit. Those are photo opportunities, not policy instruments. Publish the draft papers for every Maldives 2.0 initiative. Open a formal public comments window with a defined response period. The top wallet turned $839 into $129,047. Three of the top four sellers are wallets created just days before $CWU launched. $CWU is shown as worth $72 million on paper as thats the current marketcap. The stated value is 187 times larger than the money backing it. Banks must hold cash reserves against deposits: USDC stablecoin is 100% backed, a regulated bank holds about 15%, Basel III requires 10.5%, the ECB minimum is 1%. $CWU’s reserve ratio is 0.53%. A bank this thin would be shut down by regulators within hours. When a new buyer purchases $CWU, their SOL flows into the pool and an old insider sells their cheap tokens, walking away with that new buyer’s money. No product is built, no value is created. The 204 wallets still holding need a constant stream of new buyers or the structure collapses on whoever is last. This is the on-chain mechanic, not speculation. The 10% wallet - A separate insider wallet, 4Xue...Byq7, received 100 million CWU directly from the creator at launch bypassing the vault entirely. It still holds 99.5 million tokens (~$7.9M on paper) and has not sold. This is possibly the insiders whose profiles are used falling in as a victim to this Ponzi scheme?
