Core -your node doesn't matter -renting hashrate is a larp -filters don't work -don't trust other node implementations -lots of private funding and influence -refused to patch inscription bug for three years Knots -run a node -mine with it using datum so you can single handedly decentralize bitcoin mining by producing your own block templates -point as much hashrate at it as possible because mining isn't supposed to be a proffitable business -one cpu = one vote -we NEED more node implementations or bitcoin remains centralized -you can decide not to relay any transaction you like, that's sovereinty not censorship -grass roots -literally built by the guy that wrote the patch for the inscription bug which was ignored then 'fixed' by redefining a variable instead of implementing the patch Core will loose this war just because there message sucks! Running knots.

@mxgueldg @s_sultzer @thatdayin1992 maybe you prefer to live longer, here is capitalism. Second point, you want redistribution of wealth, okay. But only capitalism creates the wealth so you have something to share.

@s_sultzer @thatdayin1992 GDP per capita isn't a suitable indicator... It doesn't reflect how the wealth is distributed in a society.. in that graph, a 1% of the people could own all the money, while the other 99% live in misery... You better combine it with the GINI index

@Reptolord @SankarasLawyer Those were armed rioting thugs funded by CIA who were shooting PLA soliders wanting to Start color revolution. If they had succed China would be like libya backwards. The work of CIA is to keep countries backwards x.com/FreyaD2024/sta…

@gr1ngray @Feliday_Melody @SankarasLawyer It’s well documented that PLA soldiers were lynched and burned to death, it was quite horrible. Also, wikileaks US cables show that there was no massacre at Tiananmen but our govs continue to shamelessly lie about it. liberationschool.org/tiananmen-the-…

@VicMelsky @simonmaechling I thought critical about the cap thing too, until my cap fell into the sand on the beach in Thailand. Then I realized its great I can't lose it. Also, if you wanna get your deposit for plastic bottles the cap needs to be on, not off.

The bottle cap thing is weird to me. Do Europeans struggle to control bottle caps? As an American I don't feel like I've ever experienced this struggle. And my subjective experience is that I don't see a lot of orphan bottle caps littering. To be fair I do live in a small town, but I've walked around in plenty of big cities across the country, so I don't think my small town is too different on a bottle cap loss rate basis. It also conflicts with the perception I have of Europeans being a lot more "green" focused than Americans on average, because don't the cap and the bottle need to be separated for recycling? It just feels like someone "solved a problem" that didn't really exist.

I’m European. Apparently I’m poor. Yet somehow I have: Functional public transport. Consumer protections. Affordable healthcare. Food standards. Paid vacation. And I don’t lose my bottle cap every time I take a sip of water. Strange definition of poor.

@Toluache1441 @InfraHaz Capitalism, which is making people less poor and gives them higher life expectancy ... But somehow is the reason for all killings. Lol

Decades after the disastrous capitalist 1990's, I am happy to report that Socialism is making a return to Russia. "Capitalism" has been tried, and failed miserably. The majority in Russia and the world are beginning to accept this. Meanwhile, the last major true believers in American neoliberal capitalist doctrine are in Milei's Argentina, where people are eating donkeys!

@UWUNOSEUCU @InfraHaz Also I would argue, to be able to handout welfare it was a precondition to have the prosperity and productivity that capitalism enabled. Only if you produce more than you need for yourself you can be generous to others.

@UWUNOSEUCU @InfraHaz I scimmed through it and i don't trust it at all. In the conclusion it claims that: "data on wages, human height and mortality indicate that the rise and expansion of the capitalist world-system from circa 1500 caused a decline in nutritional standards and health outcomes."

@golub @fteconomics You don't know what libertarianism is. Its the philosophy of: I don't spend other peoples money and therefore I don't ask for it in the beginning. I think people nowadays confuse big tech with libertarian's.

@fteconomics The problem with libertarianism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.
