#WATCH | Delhi: Wife of Army Brigadier, Nitasha says, "On 11th April, around 9.45 PM, my husband and son went for a walk outside... They came back searching for his mobile and mentioned that two people were sitting in a Mercedes car and they were consuming alcohol. My husband and son tried to explain to them that this is a respectable society, and you are not supposed to do this. They started using abusive language and passing certain illicit comments, as I was also there. We called the PCR vehicle... The cop came, and he was about to take my statement. This individual, who was in the driving seat, made him speak on his mobile to someone. The cop came back, and he refused to write my statement... 7-8 goons came out from a cab, and started assaulting both my son and my husband. I went back to the cop who was sitting in the PCR van, requesting him for some assistance. But he refused... At around 10.45 PM, we went to the Vasant Vihar police station. There was a lady cop there who misbehaved with us, saying that we troubled them in the night... The PCR cop had reported to the police station the wrong vehicle number... We were not provided any medical assistance. Finally, we were able to give a written complaint to them at 2.13 AM..."

When the premeditated assault by the PLA began under the cover of darkness, Gurtej didn't just stand his ground he redefined what it means to be a Ghatak deadly soldier. The Heroism in Numbers: 12: The number of enemy soldiers he neutralized in hand-to-hand combat. 4: The number of times he went back into the danger zone to pull his injured comrades to safety. Infinite: The courage he showed as he continued to fight even after sustaining grievous injuries. The Legacy- Hailing from Village Birewala Dogra, Mansa (Punjab), Gurtej followed the footsteps of his uncle, a Kargil veteran. His father, a humble farmer, said his son tought like a lion. For his conspicuous gallantry and supreme sacrifice, he was posthumously awarded the Vir Chakra (VrC). We live in peace today because men like Gurtej Singh chose to face the storm. Let’s make sure the world never forgets the name Sepoy Gurtej Singh, VrC. #IndianArmy #Galwan #India #Punjab

In Nalanda district, near Noorsarai, humanity has hit rock bottom. A woman was publicly assaulted while criminals shamelessly filmed and circulated the video. This isn’t just a crime it’s a horrifying reflection of a broken system. Where is the fear of law? Where is accountability? Immediate, strict action is the only answer. @PoliceNalanda @dmnalanda @samrat4bjp @HMOIndia @NCWIndia @bihar_police

₹19,000 crore. That is what Banks collected in last 3 years just for not maintaining ‘Minimum Account Balance.’ Not from the rich. Not from big borrowers. From the poorest accounts in the system. Their crime? They didn’t have enough money. A farmer misses the minimum balance - Penalty. A pensioner withdraws money for medicine - Penalty. A daily wage worker falls short by a few hundred rupees - Penalty. The poor keep money in banks for safety. Not to be quietly fined for being poor. Financial inclusion should protect small savings, not punish small balances. In Parliament today I proposed ending minimum balance penalties so the banking system stops charging people for their poverty.

India is becoming an Economic Giant. Now we are amongst the Top 5 Economies of the World. India could afford & continue with the IT Exemption to the Disabled Soldiers even at the time of Independence when we were not even in the Top 50 Economies in the World. Today, we have Individuals like Mukesh Ambani who can afford to build a Residence spending 8000 Crores. We have BCCI, the wealthiest sports body, in the World with a revenue exceeding ₹10,000 crore for FY25 and a massive surplus of approximately ₹6,700 crore for FY26. *BCCI DOES NOT PAY INCOME TAX* It’s a *CHARITY ORGANIZATION*. Income Tax on BCCI alone can probably offset the entire Disability Tax that will be collected. But, *The Only Thing That can take the Country forward is the Income Tax on Disabled Soldiers*. Besides, our Defense Forces are probably the only ones in the World which are sent to War without the Govt insuring their Lives or Disabilities. *Soldiers have to Pay for their Life Insurance themselves, that too from their Income Taxed Pay. Is it only the Soldiers’ contribution to the IT that will propell our Economy to the Top of The TOP FIVE?*

Proud of our Army 💪 *A Heartwarming Story From Indian Army* One Grizzly Bear (Himalayan Brown Bear) family used to visit us at xxxx post in Siachen. Initially, only during nights. We started keeping food for the family. Their confidence in us developed over a period, and they even started coming during day. There was also a bear cub about an year old. It used to come with his mother, but after about 6 months, it was either deserted by the mother or got lost. Then it started roaming alone, but it had problems, since the dogs in the post wouldn't let it come close. When we saw this, we started tying the dogs. The confidence grew and it started to come close. We named him Bahadur after the Company's name- Bahadur Company. For a few days, we couldn't see Bahadur. One day, one of my posts, which used get cut off due to 60 feet of snow, reported that Bahadur is roaming around with his head stuck in a tin box. This post was about 800 metres from my Company Headquarter. I took 6 boys with me and went to rescue the bear myself. It's not that I wasn't concerned about boys safety; but I still decided to do the rescue. When we reached the place, the bear was roaming with the tin box around its head, over a cornice probably without food for last 3 days. It was making circles on the cornice. _(Cornice - An overhanging mass of hardened snow at the edge of a mountain precipice.)_ Basically, cornice is a false extension of ground made by hard snow over a period of time, and it can't take too much weight. It can break off and can lead to an Avalanche. So, it was very difficult to go closer to the bear to rescue it. I found the lightest boy from my group and briefed him to go close to the bear and tie the rope around his neck. We also tied a rope to the waist also to pull him in case the cornice breaks down. This boy was nervous to get close to the bear. After about over 3 mins, I decided to rescue the bear on my own. The bear was approached by me on my knees and I pulled him out of the cornice as quickly as possible to avoid breaking off the cornice. After bringing the bear to safety, we tied it with ropes to take it to our xxxx post, where we could release him after removing the tin box. It took almost a kind of surgery to cut the tin box without damaging the ears and neck of the bear. We gave him food and released him after taking all safety precautions. When we released him, he didn't go away for a good 3 hours. But after that it became part of my Company. Whenever we shouted his name -Bahadur, it always appeared from nowhere. It still comes to the post for food. Although the Story is very Heartwarming, please do also take a moment to appreciate the very difficult conditions and the environment the Indian Army is guarding our Borders. Furthermore, do also see and acknowledge the accommodation they are staying with bare minimum amenities. It takes a special kind of men to do this. A big Salute to the Soldiers of the Indian Army. Jai Hind! Some videos👇🏼

Its next to impossible to wreck this bond between a paltan, its officers and their men. Lt. Shashank makes you realize why ! Lieutenant Shashank Tiwari, a young and brave officer, had volunteered to lead a patrol in the high mountains of North Sikkim. While crossing the fast, icy Nimuphuichhu River, one of his men, Agniveer Stephen Subba, slipped and fell into the strong current. Without thinking twice, Shashank jumped straight into the river. The water was freezing and the flow was wild, but he fought the current and managed to reach Stephen. Even after getting hurt by sharp rocks, he pushed his soldier towards safety, making sure Stephen survived. But the current was too strong. Shashank couldn’t hold on and was swept away. The officer might not be around us anymore, the spirit will give birth to moments like "saab aap cover do, me aage jata hu" among all ranks. Lt. Shashank will always be remembered as Lt. Shashank Tiwari, Kirti Chakra (P) and a legend of the paltan 💯
