@AVinthehousee Seating is the least of the problems at the sub registrar's office.
English

BREAKING:
People visiting Sub-Registrar Offices must be provided seating while their concerns are being attended to. Officials should not make members of the public stand while interacting with them.
All offices must ensure adequate seating arrangements, and compliance will be monitored through CCTV cameras.

Massive hike in #petrol prices is a prime example of the failure of Congress-led UPA. This will put a burden of hundreds of crores on Guj.

@svembu Where do I invest my money? No gold, no USD assets. Stock market is plunging month after month. Fixed Income is negative relative to inflation. Real estates are in a bubble.
How do I secure my future?

@Paritolkks Western billionaires are thought leaders, risk takers and self made.

Anant Ambani has launched Vantara Creamery, a new ice cream brand from A2 Gir cow milk, including Malai Kulfi, Guava Chilli, Filter Coffee, Kesar Peda, and Butter Caramel.
Indian billionaires has massive wealth and capital, yet most big business families still can’t move beyond campa cola, chai, masala, namkeen-type businesses.
Meanwhile, Western billionaires are building companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, SpaceX, and Meta that are shaping the future.
For a country with this much talent and money, we still think too small.

@punzy123 @Rainmaker1973 It is entertainment just like sports & athletics.

I'm not trying to be funny because this is amazing. But this is a useless skill with the invention of modern technology. Would you trust his answer if you saw him doing this in person or would you trust a calculator or AI? Again, it's an amazing example of how the human brain works for some but overall it's a carnival trick. Again, not trying to make light of what this young man did.

A Bengaluru startup just did something no one in the world has ever done, put a satellite in orbit that sees through clouds, through the night, with optical sensor and SAR fused into one.
Many many congratulations to the @Galaxeye team on the launch of Mission Drishti!
This is exactly why PM Sri @narendramodi opened up the space sector, so young Indians could build an audacious future for the nation.

@lalitgrateful That's the scale of unaccounted Income. Income from salaries is a tiny fraction in the economy.

@dmuthuk Fixing the tier 1 cities corporations and municipalities for better cleanliness and infrastructure is enough. That's the biggest reason holding many NRIs back.

Saw Sridhar Vembu's open letter to Indians in US. The letter sounded really genuine.
I just want to share a small quote from Charlie Munger:
"Show me the incentive and I’ll show you the outcome.
The iron rule of nature is: you get what you reward for. If you want ants to come, you put sugar on the floor."
In general, people react only to incentives.
If you search web, you'll know how China was able to get back talent from America.
Sridhar has the ears of government. He need to discuss about incentives to attract NRIs
come back to India.
An open letter is unlikely to bring even one person back.
We are human beings. We are not completely rational or logical people. All of us respond to incentives.

@ShashiTharoor Please ensure a smooth experience for all the ships.

100 ships. One destination.
The Strait of Hormuz crisis has shifted global shipping eyes to my constituency! Thiruvananthapuram’s Vizhinjam Port is currently seeing a massive surge with 100 vessels in queue or seeking calls.
From handling its 1 millionth TEU in record time to fast-tracking Phase II, Vizhinjam is officially India's transshipment answer to the world. When I first helped bring in the tender bid that made the port a reality, it was a long-shot project with plenty of sceptics and critics.
Today, the tides are turning at Vizhinjam. With the ongoing disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, the world is looking for a new, reliable gateway — and Vizhinjam has answered the call. India’s first deep-water transshipment hub is no longer just a project; it’s a global necessity.
61 vessels handled in March 2026 alone, a new record. 100 berthing calls pending. Expansion underway to accommodate 5 motherships simultaneously. We are witnessing the birth of a maritime giant that doesn't just compete with global hubs like Colombo or Singapore; it sets a new standard.

If you carve out 33% out of existing seats, reserved for women, the existing MP’s who are men will oppose as they will lose the seats they have cultivated for long. It is self preservation in politics. This is why this 33% was opposed for so long. Increase to 850 means that the additional seats will form the corpus for women reservation.
VaradhaRajan T@VaradhaRajan73
@TVMohandasPai Out of the existing 543 seats why BJP not allocate33%. Why bring delimitation and women’s reservation together. It seems like BJP don’t really want to give33%. By combining these two bills BJP know the opposition will object, then BJP can shift the blame onto them, that’s BJP plan

An open invitation:
It’s more than 48 hrs since I publishes this table as the only possible outcome of the proposed bills before parliament.
Meanwhile most of the media has obediently published the sarkari tables which show 50% increase. But no one has shown any link between sarkari tables and sarkari bills.
Can anyone please show me the provisions in the existing bills that allow flat 50% increase across states?
This article in @the_hindu shows why this is impossible. And a fact check in @thewire_in suggests that HM was off.
Anyone who can offer a different reading based on the text of the bills? Will happily amplify any intelligent response, even if I disagree.
