@317Kritika76178 @Pirat_Nation Based. Make the game inclusive

@Pirat_Nation I modded it so all the workers are white and the "farmer" can only be black or native American

A controversial game called Plantation Simulator has been released on Steam and is receiving huge backlash from people calling it a slavery simulator.
The game is described on Steam as a simple farming simulator where players motivate workers to work on a plantation.
But the gameplay centers on a whipping mechanic applied to Black workers to increase productivity.
The developer has described it as:
“In this game, you will be whipping black people to keep your farm productive. If you whip your black person too much, they will die.”

@franco_fury @Grummz Buddy it’s a marrow breach. It’s not that deep man

Subnautica 2 is a pacifist ideology woven into a game.
Players have noticed you cannot defend yourself against attacking fish. Not even in self defense. Only passive means are available.
This was by design. You can't kill anything because the devs feel it would support gun violence and aspects of colonialism:
"Subnautica is one vote towards a world with less guns. A reminder that there is another way forward."
"We want people to feel like they're learning to adapt to the world, rather than being a conqueror or dominator."
"We aren't a killing game. Go play Sons of the Forest or something if you want to kill."
The anti-violence stance got stronger from Subnautica 1 -> 2, which now has a complete "no kill" policy even when the fish can still kill *you*.

English

@Grummz It’s still an amazing game. I’m hoping as they add more content they add more stuff for self defence like the stasis rifle or some new stuff like taser, flash beacons, maybe even some form of smoke bomb. That could be really cool

@CordiesD1e @imgamehunter Ai was used for prototyping purposes and some minor 2d assets. It’s so minor and non intrusive so what’s the problem
English

@imgamehunter This game looked so good, it's my favourite subgenre too...
then I saw AI generated 2D assets. What a shame.

In this game you play as a shift guard sent to an abandoned village, where you pay for your daytime actions at night
☀️During the Day:
• Explore the village and surroundings
• Gather firewood, boil tea, manage resources
• Perform simple tasks and patrol
• Find treasures that you are forbidden to take...
🌛At Night:
• The “guests” become more aggressive depending on your actions
• Defend yourself with light, salt, and weapons
• Barricade doors and reinforce your shelter
• Find a way to tame the nightly visitors or fight back
🎮It's called Midnight Watcher: Village

@kingepic22 @jenstevens736 Periods are something you can control after all if you dont want them anymore get your ovaries removed. Or wait about 40 years
English

@jenstevens736 periods are not something that can be controlled. jerking off is. #thinkofthesperm
English

@kingepic22 That argument falls through because to have an abortion and egg cell needs to be fertilized by a sperm cell.

Is there some kind of socio-psychological explanation for why this kind of facial comedy (e.g. Jim Carrey) was popular and considered funny like 30 years ago but nowadays induces cringe and even hatred in young people?

@endthusiam I searched it up. It say the mc from stellar blade is a adult
English

@ChibiReviews Hey, if you can't see why it's wrong to play as a pedo-sex doll in Stellar Blade, but perfectly fine with an internal close-up on underage teens tongue wrestling...you might be a journalist.
English

The same people that call you a pedo for liking anime girls are giving this a 10 outta 10 rating
If we humor their retarded logic towards fiction. They would be considered a pedo as well, since these fictional characters are teens within the game

@nettermike Owen had no right to assault the 17 year old. Owen should be charged as an adult and face maximum penalties for his crimes and sent to an adult maximum security prison.
English

He was in his room playing video games in Alpena Township, Michigan when he heard his 8-year-old sister scream outside. The first time, he figured she was just messing around with friends. The second scream made him look out the window.
Owen Burns is 13 years old. His dad Andrew had taken him to the range, practiced with him on his BB gun, and worked with him on his aim over the years. The slingshot was something they had picked up just to play with. Owen was not supposed to use it inside the house because he had a habit of breaking things with it. None of that crossed his mind on May 10th.
What he saw through the window was a 17-year-old boy who had come out of the woods and grabbed his sister, covering her mouth, pulling her toward the trees. Owen grabbed the slingshot, loaded a marble, and fired from the window. He hit the attacker in the head. Then he loaded a gravel rock and fired again. He hit him in the chest. His sister broke free and ran. The attacker fled into the neighborhood, where police later found him hiding at a nearby gas station, still carrying the injuries from the slingshot.
Michigan State Police said those exact wounds helped them identify and build the case against the suspect. The 17-year-old was charged with attempted kidnapping, attempted assault with intent to do great bodily harm, and assault and battery. Police said what Owen did was extraordinary and that he should be commended. His mom Margaret said she was just glad he picked it up when he did.
When a reporter asked Owen how he managed to hit the target twice under that kind of pressure, he kept it short. He said the guy was just a big target. Not like one Pepsi can.
What do you think made Owen act instead of freeze in a moment that most adults would not be ready for?

English

@lakshay_mi28939 @nonregemesse Okay thats makes more sense. I see your point now
English

@rainboweye55 @nonregemesse No. I don't want to get into the moral side of this argument because as a meat eater some others might find the way those animals are killed equal to torture. What I meant was that since the US does even more horrible things to human beings how can they talk about what China does
English

Who is ‘we’ ?
I’m not Chinese

@Intelexual_Marc @Bornakang I think its more that people use it as a means to justify wrong doing. 99% of the world's problems are caused by people
English

@Bornakang Religion is the root of 99% of the worlds problem, and it’s not in the same level as race or gender as something that should always be respected
