NEWS: Four-Star QB Wonderful “Champ” Monds IV will announce his Commitment live on The Pat McAfee show on May 1st, his agent @ShawnODare tells @Rivals He’ll choose between Florida State, Notre Dame, and Ohio State on3.com/rivals/champ-m…

@Genetics56 Isn’t he going to me paid several million to play football this year, let’s say this pushes him down 15-20 spots, it is hard to see how he is way worse off financially
English

He would have easily been the #2 QB. No he will enter a draft that could have 3 other QB's as potential #1's.
Polymarket Football@PolymarketBlitz
Trinidad Chambliss made a major mistake not declaring for the 2026 NFL draft. He would have been QB2/3.
English

@Genetics56 Agreed and seems like the administration understands this so seems promising but until we get out I am nervous that we will miss out somehow and be relegated to mediocrity

My own $0.02. Florida State needs to leave the ACC in order to regain their prominance in college athletics. Sure they are competitive in some Olympic sports and won a soccer national title. But that doesn't pay the bills. I'm sorry, it is true.
Last night FSU was the only major football program in FL without a football player anywhere near a first round draft pick.
UCF, Florida, and Miami had players drafted last night. That's a good thing, not a bad thing. However, the talent drain at Florida State is an issue.
Florida State has the ability to recruit elite talent. But for whatever reason, the talent is far and few between outside of some random outliers.
There's a lot more I can say about this topic, but I have work stuff to do, so I'll continue on this conversation for another day.
But the longer FSU stays in the ACC, the harder it will be to recruit good talent, yearly, to FSU as an ACC member. The "damage" has shown.
It's a brand that can rebound very quickly in a national conference.

@nicksortor Has there ever been a study on wether or not executions actually deter crime, I am sure incarcerations do but not sure about executions, homes ethical people are deterred but psycho people who do this kind of thing might not be

🚨 JUST IN: Elon Musk calls for the FedEx driver who just pleaded GUILTY to MURDERING 7-year-old Athena Strand to be “EXECUTED IMMEDIATELY”
We need more than that — we need him to be executed PUBLICLY
Jurors literally CRIED IN COURT while hearing video of Horner KlLLING Athena following demands she take off her shirt
He kiIIed her after she screamed for “momma,” not wanting to take her shirt off
This is a real life DEMON.
Burn this fcker at the stake.

@notpopbase @BernieSanders The entire intent was to infuriate you by telling you a small amount of information for you to make an informed judgement on the matter

Any male who remembers this time period knows what the rush was like.
Middle school or early high school. Just starting to care about girls. Hot girl wearing a lace thong in class.
It hit so different. We’ll never get that back.
Chelo@mr_angelote
De chico en la escuela veias esto y te pegabas flipando facilmente todo el curso, sin exagerar. Ahora ves a las pelandruscas de turno enseñar hasta el alma por instagram y te la suda completamente. Estamos completamente destrozados mentalmente

@imPenny2x I agree this is the likely outcome but assuming that people with billions or politicians will be ruthless in making sure they are on the winning side of this is also an intelligent and vigilant stance

99% of people really do not understand abundance as Elon describes it.
The fundamental reason is that they don’t understand compound growth.
Same people who would probably pick 1 million dollars today over a penny that doubles in value every day for 30 days.
It’s a bad choice by the way. You lose out on millions.
Imagine if that doubling object was a labor producing robot instead of a penny.
Compounding labor. It’s actually crazy if you try and wrap your mind around it.
So Elon mentions Universl High Income and the midwits flip a lid.
“The elites won’t share”
You don’t get it. They won’t need to share. They will make everything so cheap, it is effectively free.
Charities will have immense resources to distribute.
Unfathomable intelligence will exist to help optimize production and distribution.
An unfathomably large labor pool will exist that operates on solar power exclusively.
The public work projects that are erected will be unseen before levels of breathtaking.
I think we are incredibly blessed to steward this new age of abundance.
Can you see it now?
Can you see the future?

@its_The_Dr @WalbyDr Almost certainly this is made up, corporate best practices would always reasonably accommodate employees rather than face legal and reputational consequences

Chalk one up for the people!
A Dollar General cashier in Tennessee, Linda Atkins, who has diabetes, was fired after drinking a bottle of orange juice during a low blood sugar emergency.
Atkins had previously asked her manager for permission to keep orange juice at her register in case of hypoglycemia, but the request was denied.
While working alone, she began experiencing symptoms of dangerously low blood sugar and drank a $1.69 bottle of orange juice from the store cooler to stabilize herself.
She paid for it immediately afterward and informed her supervisor.
Despite this, she was terminated for violating the company’s “grazing” policy, which prohibits employees from consuming merchandise before purchase.
Atkins filed a lawsuit under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), arguing that the company failed to provide reasonable accommodation for her medical condition.
A federal jury agreed and awarded her $277,565 in damages, recognizing that her dismissal was unlawful.

@yasharfeizi @alc2022 This thread inspired me to submit the word to urban dictionary of “liquidity sheep shepherd” someone who gets retail to provide liquidity to whales and institutions for money so they can get in and out of assets at the highest possible return
