पश्चिम बंगाल की फालता सीट पर बीजेपी उम्मीदवार देबांग्शु पांडा की जीत खबर नहीं है,खबर यह है कि टीएमसी उम्मीदवार के चुनाव से बाहर होने के बाद भी कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार अब्दुल रज्जाक को सिर्फ दस हज़ार वोट मिले।सीपीआई (एम ) के उम्मीदवार शंभूनाथ कुर्मी 40 हजार वोट के साथ दूसरे नंबर पर रहे। इसका मतलब यह है कि राहुल गांधी के एकतरफा मुस्लिम प्रेम के बाद भी मुस्लिम वोटर्स अभी भी कांग्रेस पर पूरा भरोसा नहीं जता रहे हैं।कांग्रेस के लिए यह चिंता का विषय होना चाहिए। फालता सीट पर कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी मुसलमान था।बीजेपी और सीपीआई (एम) प्रत्याशी हिंदू थे।सीपीआई (एम) प्रत्याशी को कांग्रेस से चार गुना ज्यादा वोट मिले। फालता विधानसभा सीट पर लगभग 33% मुस्लिम आबादी है।फालता सीट चुनाव परिणाम से क्या यह संकेत उभरकर आ रहे हैं कि मुस्लिम वोटर्स टीएमसी के अनुपस्थित होने पर लेफ्ट को कांग्रेस से बेहतर विकल्प मान रहे हैं? 33 फीसद मुस्लिम आबादी वाली सीट पर टीएमसी के मैदान छोड़ने के बाद और कांग्रेस के मुस्लिम उम्मीदवार होने के बाद भी कांग्रेस सिर्फ दस हज़ार वोट पर सिमट गयी है, तो बंगाल में कांग्रेस की स्थिति का अंदाजा लगाया जा सकता है। कहावत है “दुविधा में दोनों गए, माया मिली ना राम”। क्या कांग्रेस के हाथ से राम और रहीम दोनों फिसल रहे हैं?
