#Hyderabad—3 fully constructed house are being demolished at Serilingampally-Vaishali Nagar. Demolition of illegal structures and encroachments on lakes being take up at Erla Cheruvu in Chandanagar and 10 acres recovered at Bum-Rukn-ud-Dowla Lake. As per NRSC data between 1979-2024 in 45 years, lakes extent in and Hyderabad has reduced by 61%. So lakes remaining extent is just 39%- said HYDRAA officials.
