Calling a constrained runtime with an S3-backed filesystem and fake git a replacement for a real sandbox feels like a step backwards, not forwards. How does it handle npm install, dev servers, or arbitrary CLI tooling? Those aren’t edge cases they’re literally everyday software development. We literally spent years evolving from agents that could only read/write files and call predefined tools to agents that can operate an actual Linux environment. This is a big part of why coding agents became “good” And no a just-bash style fake bash implementation also doesn’t count
