Earthset. The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon.

@MehdiHacks If starlink uses intersatellite links for better orbit determination & timing, reducing the positional uncertainty, it probably can achieve much higher precision. starlink, kuiper, kepler are likely building their own gps solutions.

Interesting article in the September 2025 edition of "IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Magazine" shows it's possible to use signals from LEO satellites like Starlink and Iridium for navigation and timing. They managed to get to ~7m of positioning accuracy without GPS.
