English

@airfrance @airfrance @AirFranceFR - I did that multiple times and they are saying that they have no control over the claims and they will not be able to assist with this matter. It’s kind of lost in space now without any response. Frustrating!!

We remain at your disposal on Whatsapp bit.ly/3TC7o3N
Have a good day
English

@airfrance Sorry for the delayed response. I had some family emergency as soon as I landed and I was travelling so, I couldn’t submit the form online. My baggage was received after 2 days in chennai and it caused lot of hassle. Can you do something to compensate for the delayed baggage?
English

@AirFranceFR - Travelled from DFW -> CDG > BLR -> MAA. Air France staff pushed me to take the chennai flight without allowing me to take the baggage in Bangalore due to the delay of the flight from CDG -> BLR. My bags didn’t come to Chennai and it’s been 2 days.
English

@abcapital - I have been trying to reach your customer service team through a phone call and whatsapp but it was unsuccessful. And your whatsapp chat you are promoting sucks. Can someone ping me privately to get answer my questions about the policy I have?

Most of you have seen the phrase "Yen carry trade" during this sell-off, but many don't know what it means.
Here's a very simple explanation:
1. Investor borrows Japanese Yen at low/near-zero interest rates
2. Investor converts Japanese Yen to another currency with a higher interest rate, such as the U.S. Dollar
3. Investor takes U.S. Dollars and invests in stocks, bonds, etc. which have a higher yield/return than their cost of borrowing the Japanese Yen
4. Investor profits from difference between return on investment in the chosen asset and cost to borrow Yen
This trade "unwinds" if investors begin selling the assets and buying back Yen to repay the original loans, a process which can be stimulated for any number of reasons (in this case, potentially higher rates in Japan).
The unwind can be exacerbated if the Yen strengthens in advance, leading to losses in converting the investments back to Yen, thereby leading to even more asset sales to compensate for those losses.
Combine this overcrowded trade with geopolitical tensions escalating, underwhelming A.I.-related earnings reports, and a concerning jobs report -- things can get ugly quickly, as they have over the past weeks.
