A devastating elephant attack was reported at Kidangoor Mahavishnu Temple in Angamaly, Kerala, on May 1. Around 9:45 AM, the elephant Mayyanad Parthasarathy went into musth and turned violent. It killed Vishnu, a lorry driver from Kollam, and left mahout Pradeep seriously injured. Several vehicles were overturned or damaged, and parts of the temple wall were destroyed. Officials managed to subdue the elephant after nearly two hours.

@Ananth_IRAS I travelled once to Bangalore by the double decker. Worst seats. Seats are uncomfortable and not much space for keeping luggage. Will never ever travel on these coaches again

While double-deckers can accommodate a larger number of passengers, in my opinion, it gives a claustrophobic feel and is inconvenient for taller travellers. I have myself travelled in it and it wasn't a convenient journey. Passengers have often complained of inadequate leg space and luggage space. #IndianRailways #doubledecker
