To save a private pension equivalent to that of an NHS receptionist, you'd need a pot of about £1.5 MILLION. This is: outrageous, unjust & completely unaffordable. Taxation is theft.

@conkers3 Sadly the market doesn't seem to be trusting these results the way I'd like. Price is down sharply since this update. I continue to hold...but it's a little disconcerting!

A passing thought … It would be a masterclass if President Trump could broker some form of three-way energy understanding between the U.S., Russia, and China regarding oil and the situation around Iran. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a formal alliance — but some arrangement where all three parties have a stake in stability. Of course many other dynamics are at play, but energy stability is ultimately in the interest of all three parties?

#AUGM - Recommended cash takeover offer at £1.10 p/s. ❌A significant discount to the last published NAV of £1.595. ❌This is very disappointing news for $AUGM patient shareholders. ✅Despite the 27% premium to the last closing price of 87p. x.com/YstoneAdvisory…

#AUGM - Recommended cash offer at 110p Quite a large discount to the last published NAV of 159.5p but a decent premium to the 87p SP. Someones getting a bargain

When I started out as an accountant, a small business owner taking £50,000 in dividends paid £0 in tax on it. Today that same person pays £4,331. By April 2026 they'll pay £5,288. Same income. Same income source. Quietly taxed into oblivion. 🧵

@randomname17386 @TJiMTS Newt suggested you’ve made a mistake hit your ignorance is baffling. Without the individual starting the company they’d be no corp tax hence the benefit of lower dividend tax… if the individual ceases to exist so will the company
