A brutal week for investors - portfolio knocked 6% and now firmly in the red YTD. Weakness in housing, so #VTY #PSN and #TW. took a whack. Inflation fears and energy shocks affecting #CNC and #ALU Recession fears knackered commodity prices with #RIO and #ECOR taking a bath.

@jzrdan @HTVIOLA it’s a challenge and a lot going on. i follow a guy called luke gromen, he recommends the jakob fugger portfolio, 25% cash, 25% gold, 25% property and 25% precious metal miner, materials. NO BONDS FOREVER NOW!! a portfolio to preserve money not make, it’s that time

@HTVIOLA @conkers3 I did have a facepalm moment when you mentioned #VTY on the pod 🤦‍♂️. Generally though held up well. Not sold a thing, added to a few and looking at a few more. “This too shall pass” seems apt given its attributed to Persian origins.
