@RealMissyHyatt Yes but it was written into your contract. The contracts signed now don't allow that or they would just have people sit the length of the contract and not work until their contract is thru. People wld complain about that. At least this way they get 90 days paid and then can work.

My point is if you sign a multi year contract for x amount of $$$. You should be paid the duration of the contract. Unless fired for disciplinary reasons
My contract in wcw was guaranteed. I made the same $$ in fall of 1989 when i waa sitting home. It was originally a 2 year contract that was later renegotiated & extended.
Signing for x amount and for guaranteed years, with wwe having windows to get release talent is unfair.
I understand talent is released to make room for new talent. Thats the biz
My argument is honoring the length of the contract.

@MingNa I’ve lived in America for my whole life, same name and almost nobody pronounces it correctly. If it’s just once, i’ll say “it’s Roar-e” then say “it’s not your fault my parents gave me this name.” If they continue, then they are A-holes and I’ll cut them out of my life.

@CoolestGeekJBS Erik didn't have a style. It was waterdowned Todd. Todd's issues cost significantly more than Eriks and are in much higher demand. Todd's influence is still seen in comics today. This is mind blowing. Be happy you can get lots of affordable back issues of your favorite.

For today’s Friday Pull, I’m taking it back to the golden era of 90s Valiant with Harbinger #24.
There was something truly special about the world-building at Valiant during this time. This issue, "The Last Outlaw," features that classic Sean Chen cover art that perfectly captures the high-stakes, "kids on the run" energy that made Harbinger a standout. Seeing Peter Stanchek and the Renegades trying to navigate a world that feared their power was such a grounded take on the superhero genre.
Who else remembers the sheer dominance of Valiant in the early 90s? This run still holds up.
