I think the issue is, it feels like they're taking turns to speak, rather than having a conversation. There's no interaction between "I'm doing this" and "I'm doing that". And yeah, it looks terrible, but that's Sonic Frontiers for ya haha.

Idk if people will understand where I'm coming from with this but this is slowly becoming one of my least favorite scenes in any Sonic game. I find the dialogue really painfully on the nose and the line deliveries and horrible character lighting do not help at all lol.

Insane how in the scenes where there isn't any dialogue they add a whole ass yapfest. But in the scenes where there's ACTUALLY dialogue in the form of inner monologues and thoughts, they just go completely silent.
