Spencer Steer is in a splint for the next two weeks. The hope is that rest and treatment will lead to healing and surgery won’t be needed. It’s a partial tear of a sheath in his wrist (the sheath is what protects the tendon).

Can play a bunch of positions, right-handed and consistently high Pull-Air %.
Wouldn’t take a massive haul, and can fit into different spots in the Sox lineup.

@Nati_Sports I’d try it, then try to extend Steer for at least 3 more years at $30 million. Obviously, the more years the merrier, but he is older, so three years is a good starting point. Plus, he’s my favorite. If they can sign Burns for that much, I’d give it a go.
