It was precisely due to serious allegations of corruption against Adani that it blacklisted his company. Now understand the chronology: No Prime Minister had visited Norway for 43 years. Norway blacklisted Adani Green on February 26, and on May 18, Modi ji arrived in Norway. He got delayed only because the Bengal elections came up in between, otherwise, our beloved Modi ji would not have waited even a single moment for his friend. Is there really anything left to explain? Over in America, when a case was filed against Adani for allegedly giving a bribe of 2,000 crore rupees, a trade deal was struck with America. Margins fell (copper segment), profits fell, expectations are not met. 👉 Volatility in copper prices, Concerns in West Asia & issues with scrap availability are primary reasons for margin contraction. 👉 Such moves generally, do not get recovery for quite some time. Even I have taken exit with my SL getting triggered in the morning. It will eventually do well in longer term, no doubt in that, but now market will not give it higher P/E anytime soon. It will take a few quarters of good performance to get back investor confidence. PS : In case you are stuck here, thumb rule is.. SL hit, take exit, find something better, so that you can enter new one with better prospects. IPO holders can view things differently as their buying price is fairly low.
