Let me tell you about naked mole rats. This live underground throughout their lives. They eat root, tubers and bulbs underground without leaving their burrow. When they come across a tuber that's big, they don't try to finish it at once. They practice a form of sustainable harvesting.They bore into the tuber and eat little out of the softer interior flesh. They deliberately leave the thin outer epidermis (skin) mostly intact. This keeps the plant alive and healthy, allowing it to continue growing or regenerate new tissue. They'll dig around their tunnels to look for other roots and do this. In a few days, they'll go back to the big tuber, which would have regenerated to eat a little again. They're smart not to overwork the tuber or kill it. They farm and bill with sense. Do the same wit your successful elder brother.

Majority of foreigners in Juba no longer drive because of harassment by traffic police officers who swarm roads, streets and even nooks in the estates. Some have resorted to paying for tinted windows for their vehicles so that are not easily identified from a far (the light-skinned South Sudanese are also victims of this identification from the lightness of one’s skin) and stopped. No serious investor would take this country seriously if driving yourself amounts to constant harassment on the roads. These acts might be termed as trivial but they have negative consequences for the overall outlook of the country. The number of traffic officers deployed on the streets should be reduced, not every road or street should have the traffic officers. They no longer care about managing the traffic flow, instead they are fixated on compliance, not traffic offenses or enforcement of safety measures.

I know you wonder why your local market is so dark at night. Well, installation of a single 30m High-Mast Floodlights by the county or sub county government is very costly and not that sustainable. Now, The County government of Trans-Nzoia led by Governor Natembeya spent a fvking ksh 27 million to install five(5) floodlights in trans-Nzioa county in May 2025. That's 1.Tuwan 2.Mitume kwa Chief 3.Kipsongo Primary Vocational Training 4.Shanti 5.Matisi Girls Secondary School That's an average of ksh. 5.4 million for a single floodlight.
