We call Balerion the Black Dread a monster. Old Valyria would’ve called him average. The Targaryens were one of the weaker dragonlord families, yet Balerion is still the biggest dragon Westeros ever saw. Now imagine the dragons owned by the families above them. Makes you wonder what really died in the Doom.
