Which demographics of Canadians are leaving Canada? >67% of the are 20-44 year olds. >3x more likely to be in Sciences than avg population. >31.1% have a masters degree. >61.4% left to the US. In other words, it's Canada's youngest, most talented and educated population.

Canada just launched the new Electric Vehicle Affordability Program EVAP in 2026 and suddenly financing a Tesla Model Y Standard with $0 down is a better deal in Canada than in the U.S. All 3 colors are now included free in Canada.

Is it just me, or did Tesla forget to announce that in Canada you can now get a Model Y in a premium color for $38,390? That is about $28,165 USD for one of the safest and best selling cars in the world.

@almostneverstil @DevinOlsenn Thanks. I am invested in the company so I follow everyone Tesla and can see the benefits. Devin's video about when to purchase in Canada is very informative as I am in that scenario.

@raylangille @DevinOlsenn Couldn’t recommend a Tesla with FSD more for your situation Driving for 3-5hrs hours is painless wether it is in stop and go traffic or just a long highway stretch.

My (Mini) Tesla Model Y Standard Review 🚗 Overall, I am blown away by how good this car is for the price, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends. I do, however, think that now is the worst time to buy a new Tesla if you care about FSD - I explain that all in the video. Review videos are still new to me, so my apologies if I didn't cover everything or got some things wrong. Enjoy! I sat in the M3 and it is too low to my liking. The Y is worth spending a bit more for if necessary for the seat height. Our current vehicle has been paid for and it has been relatively cheap to run but the trade in light is going to come on soon. We don't have the ability to charge at home so it has discouraged me from purchasing an EV, however, we want to travel more. If we can get a government rebate on a Y we will be sold and be ready to travel in NA with FSD even though we can't charge at home or if it doesn't have some key features Devin has pointed out.

Best time to buy was end of '24 where myself and wife lucked out getting two M3-RWD LFP for $52k cdn ALL-IN including taxes, etc. Since that time the most maintenance I had apart from car washes has been windshield wiper fluid, lol! Also it costs me $400 a year max to drive, and I own a business that requires out of town from time to time. Do whatever it takes to get in one now and factor in a couple grand for a home charger install so you never have to get your credit card copied at a gas station ever again. There are the things you've learned about a Tesla, then a thousand other conveniences you've never even heard about. It's to the point that you are losing more money than you will save waiting for the right rebate to drop! My wife and I are also on the cusp of retirement. If you have any questions just let me know!
