In this instance, less than 0.5% of the ball has actually touched zone. It does't seem justifiable to reverse the umpire's call. The ABS system calculates inches & surface data. I think the rules should be adjusted, so that 25% of the ball must be in the zone for a strike.

@clairenelsonaz This isn’t new. Since most cities have multiple dates, too many shows too close together might drop ticket sales…plus you need to save cites for the 2nd leg of the tour. No point in doing multiple nights then doing the same nights on the 2nd run. Pretty common.

Unpopular opinion: I understand some ball/strike calls are egregious & the ability to challenge makes sense…but baseball isn’t meant to be so precise that you rely on a box. Grey area around the plate is part of the gm. Otherwise it’s just not baseball. Idk. I’ve mixed feelings.

You can still tune into terrestrial radio. You can put it on in your car.
