There’s a business concept I learned years ago. Once I implemented it, I started getting more results (and you can apply it to Crypto). It’s “Work ON your business, not IN your business.” Imagine that you’re a Chef who just opened up your own restaurant. First, you have to do everything. You’re cooking, prepping, and cleaning toilets. You start turning a profit. You’re finally able to hire some people. But this is where a lot of people get STUCK. The chef is so used to his routines. He does try giving tasks to other people, but they “can’t do it as well as him.” Is that true or is it because he never learned how to delegate or train his staff well enough? So he’s still stuck working IN the business despite hiring help. Instead, he could work ON his business - the tasks that are higher leverage. Instead of being so in the weeds of cooking, he could work on new menu items. He could research and bring in a new Point of Sale system that tracks data. He could spend time training his staff to give better customer service. But instead, he becomes his own bottleneck. I’m sure you’ve been to some amazing restaurants that ended up shutting down despite cooking amazing food. Great food itself isn’t enough to sustain a business. I see this happen often in Crypto. People are so used to their existing workflows and habits. They never invest the time to upgrade their systems. They never work ON their Crypto. Some examples of this: • Cleaning up your information diet - newsletters, twitter follows, podcasts, etc. • Trying out new tools such as TG Bots or DeFAI products (@HeyAnonai) • Adding in proven processes such as writing out theses before buying, journaling, etc. • Working on your execution systems such as how you take profits and exit trades. • Creating and monitoring your own indicators All of these will make more of a difference than doomscrolling Twitter all day, or being “in the trenches” in choppy conditions. How do you actually take action instead of letting this tweet rot in your bookmarks? • Create an issues list. What are some problems you're experiencing or some areas you could improve? • Schedule it in your calendar. Once a week, block out an hour of your time to improve your systems based on the issues list. When it's slow in the markets, it's actually the best time to level up.
