Yes. He's right. Medicaid draws on federal and state resources. They can receive the state portion where states allow. They are also entitled to legally mandated emergency services from federal sources. It's probably why he said they don't draw from 'comprehensive' Medicaid. For emergency services undocumented people receive less than 1% of federal Medicaid funding. Meanwhile undocumented immigrants are paying over $100 BILLION in taxes to the U.S. govt. every year. Was there something you wanted to add or did you just want to undermine the credibility of Rep. Jeffries?

This is exactly why so many Americans are exhausted with modern political discourse. Ayanna Pressley jumped straight to slavery imagery and cotton fields because emotional shock rhetoric is easier than defending outcomes. Nobody said Black Americans cannot vote. Nobody removed voting rights. Nobody reinstated segregation. Nobody stopped Black Americans from electing representatives. The actual legal debate is about whether race should dominate the drawing of political districts. But instead of discussing constitutional law honestly, Democrats escalate immediately to slavery comparisons because fear and outrage are politically useful. And here is the deeper irony… If Ayanna Pressley truly cared about the condition of Black Americans, where is this level of passion for: Black overdose victims? Black fatherlessness? Black literacy collapse? Black on Black shootings? Black business flight from unsafe neighborhoods? Black children trapped in failing schools? The destruction of the nuclear family? Those crises are measurable. They are devastating. And they are happening right now in many Democrat controlled cities. Yet somehow every conversation circles back to race based political mobilization instead of tangible community restoration. Reducing Black Americans to permanent victims needing political guardianship is insulting. Black Americans are fully capable of thinking independently, voting independently, succeeding independently, and disagreeing with Democrat ideology without being treated like traitors to their race. Some Republicans would rather Black Americans pick cotton than pick their Congressperson. They want politicians to decide who their voters are, instead of the voters determining who their Representatives are. We must use every tool available to defend the sacred right to vote.
