I am still in shock that the SEC just made 85% of the market cap commodities and the market didn’t notice.

Coalitional funding: a 2026+ primitive 🤝 The difference between fragmented funding and funding that compounds? Sometimes it's not the mechanism – it's the coalition. SEMATECH, the Global Fund, and @linuxfoundation proved it. @ethereum brought it onchain. Examples: - @protocolguild solved the free-rider issue for Ethereum core contributors, no single sponsor needed - @ethereumfndn, @uniswap, @yearnfi, and others pooled tens of millions via quadratic funding rounds to support public goods As capital allocation becomes more plural and programmable, coalitional funding is how the onchain ecosystem coordinates at scale 💚 @owocki and @griffgreen go deeper 👇 🔗 gitcoin.co/research/coali…

crowdstaking is the most underrated funding mechanism in crypto stake your ETH → yield funds public goods → withdraw your principal anytime you're not donating. you're lending your economic gravity to causes you believe in. zero cost to you, continuous funding for builders. @breadchain_ pioneered this with cooperative funding. imagine every DAO treasury doing it. idle capital is a policy choice. gitcoin.co/mechanisms/cro…

The Bank of England is finalising its stablecoin rules, with its consultation deadline today. We're submitting a response with 10+ founders as signatories, pushing back on risks of GBP stablecoins being stifled. One thing is clear. A cap on stablecoins is a cap on innovation.

chiming in hear as previously worked at $near and now have been building a subnet on $tao for past 2+ years. near has done great job recently: - executed cleanly w/ better tokenomics (huge), intents delivering real PMF (best product they've launched by far, shoutout @chronear + team), and a sharp agentic narrative that's resonating right now - market is rewarding clear, simple stories in the goldfish-attention environment of crypto. agents are hot. - cracked ai team working on their ai stack. - bittensor breadth can sometimes read as everything and nothing to outsiders. We should own that perception issue instead of attacking the messenger. that said, bittensor is still the leader in actual AI progress and innovation across the entire crypto space. near built a great L1 (no downtime in 4+ years is insane) with AI capabilities on top. could this lead to being the financial rails for agent? maybe, but also many other competitors there like coinbase bittensor built the first incentive protocol that actually coordinates capital and talent toward solving the hardest AI problems in a decentralized way, and it’s still delivering the most real development: @tplr_ai pushing decentralized training forward, major TEE breakthroughs from @manifoldlabs , @webuildscore advanced CV work, and dozens of other subnets shipping useful intelligence every week. the fundamental primitive of yuma consensus, incentizing useful work at scale, remains the powerful and important innovation in crypto recently. long-term the market prices the real thing. in current tech landscape velocity is the only moat. bittensor must keep innovating, improving, and honing market perception.
Stablecoin Sean@seanlippel

$near is what everyone hopped that $tao would be as far as a leading blockchain for AI i've long said this (mostly bc of the fundamentals issues with the tao model), but now the market is realizing and quickly repricing both i think near flips bittensor for good by month end

NEAR is money for agents
Arthur@arthur0x

Been experimenting with Ironclaw and honestly surprised at how @NEARprotocol was able to build a version of Openclaw that actually improves on privacy, speed, and security. We’ve reached a point where we can approve high-risk external requests while keeping our data completely siloed. This is the only viable path to using AI agents safely and securely. In the near future where agentic commerce is the norm, I foresee AI agents will be able to transact cross-chain via NEAR intents, complete jobs and get paid via Near's agent market. All of these activity will accrue value to NEAR token as well. The team have come a long way since 2024 trying integrate AI and blockchain and they might have just done it.
