@Bcarp3 That is happening with a lot of sports now at the DI level with the new roster limitations. Coaches don't have the luxury of waiting on a kid to develop. Need instant results to stay competitive.

It stinks to think that if one of my boys is good enough out of high school to play at OSU that under this system in a few years they will have to start at a smaller school and transfer a time or two to finally get there

Congrats to Fernando Mendoza.
His personality is going to be analyzed and dissected plenty between now and April. But to me he seems like an incredibly likable kid who loves football, his coaches and his teammates. We can save how he’ll fit in with an NFL team for another day.
