Respected Mr.@mkstalin, you repeatedly speak about Tamil, Tamil Nadu, Tamil people, Tamil pride, and Tamil identity. But if Tamil history truly matters to your politics, then why is Tamil Nadu’s ancient civilizational history not given the same official respect? Why is there no major state level public celebration or public holiday to honor the Chera, Chola, and Pandya empires that shaped Tamil civilization, maritime trade, language, architecture, administration, and cultural pride? Why is a freedom fighter like V.O. Chidambaram not given the level of state recognition and public remembrance he deserves? Why has Tamil history been narrowed into the last 70 years of Dravidian politics, while thousands of years of Tamil civilization are pushed into the background? You speak in the name of Tamil identity. But are you celebrating Tamil history fully, or only the political history that benefits your ideology? Also, one serious question needs a direct answer: 1. What exactly is Dravidian ideology today? 2. Is it a linguistic identity? 3. Is it a social justice ideology? 4. Is it an anti Hindi position? 5. Is it a political brand? 6. Is it a vote bank structure? 7. Or is it simply a convenient label used only in Tamil Nadu politics? If Dravidian ideology is so universal and meaningful, why are other South Indian states not using the same terminology in the same political way? Why is Tamil Nadu alone repeatedly trapped under this label while its own Tamil identity is diluted? Tamil Nadu deserves clarity. 1. Do not use Tamil only as an election slogan. 2. Do not reduce Tamil pride to political branding. 3. If you truly stand for Tamil people, then honor Tamil history fully, celebrate Tamil civilization honestly, and explain what Dravidian ideology means in today’s Tamil Nadu. Tamil identity is older than Dravidian politics. Tamil civilization is bigger than party ideology. When I approached the Croma showroom where I bought the phone, I was directed to visit a Samsung service centre. At the service centre, instead of addressing the issue, I was asked to produce the original purchase bill. Since I no longer have the bill, they refused to even consider repairing the defect. This kind of response reflects a deeply disappointing and unhelpful attitude from Samsung's customer service. I am now forced to run between the showroom and the service centre just to retrieve a duplicate bill for a legitimate repair request. Why should a customer have to go through such a hassle for a product that is clearly defective?

For nearly three decades, Pallavan Express was the trusted lifeline for daily passengers from Tiruchirappalli, Srirangam, Lalgudi, and Ariyalur travelling to Chennai. Its extension to Karaikudi may have served one region, but it came at the cost of immense hardship for thousands of regular commuters from the Trichy belt. Since the extensionof Pallavan express to Karaikudi, passengers have been forced to endure severe overcrowding, reduced convenience, and the loss of a reliable daytime connection to Chennai. Shockingly, no compensatory service was provided to Tiruchirappalli, neither a dedicated replacement train nor even the logical step of short-terminating Pallavan back at Trichy. For almost 30 years, Pallavan rightfully belonged to Trichy. Its extension to Karaikudi, driven by the adamancy of the then Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, disrupted that balance. The real question today is: why is the present Central Government still unwilling to correct this flawed and unjust decision? Tiruchirappalli deserves a dedicated daytime train to Chennai. This can be achieved either by short-terminating Pallavan Express at Trichy once again or by introducing a separate Intercity Express via the chord line. The people of Trichy are not asking for a privilege, they are demanding what is rightfully theirs.
