Our Codex dashboards are showing increased rate of users hitting rate limits and since we don't fully understand why I have made the cautious decision of resetting the usage limits for all plans. Enjoy. I also wanted to celebrate us finding a pocket of fraudulent accounts that we banned and have helped us regain some compute. The fight against abuse never stops, but it's important to mark the moment and make it a little shared victory.

We're aware people are hitting usage limits in Claude Code way faster than expected. Actively investigating, will share more when we have an update!

@lydiahallie @trq212 Lots of people were suffering by paying, and lots of people were waiting to fix this. But you guys woke up after everything was damaged. At least fix it fast and increase limits such that trust is not being broken.

Idk what's going on with @AnthropicAI but they messed up the weekly limits badly it seems Anyone else with the issue? I've almost never hit the weekly limit on the x200 plan (except maybe 2-3x a few hours before the reset) and now I'm hitting it on Monday lol

I wanted to share a bunch of my favorite hidden and under-utilized features in Claude Code. I'll focus on the ones I use the most. Here goes.

Claude Paid Plans Limits Are Suddenly Draining in Minutes I have the MAX plan and the usage limit has been getting exhausted withing minutes, sometimes after just a few prompts. This started during the 2x off-peak promotion. Many people are reporting the same behaviour. At the same time Anthropic's status page shows everything working perfectly.

@trq212 This is second time i never completed my session limits after this i using only haiku but still completed removed all my mcps but still is it bug or what? Feels frustrated paying team premium and left out @bcherny @claudeai

Overall weekly limits stay the same, just how they're distributed across the week is changing. I know this was frustrating. We’re continuing to invest in scaling efficiently. I'll keep you posted on progress.

Just cancelled my $200/month Claude Max subscription. Rate limits lowered dramatically out of nowhere. 529 overloaded errors daily. Hit my 5 hour limit in under an hour. Multiple days of outages this week. Claude Opus 4.6 is the best coding model when it works. The problem is it hasn't been working. Switching to Codex with GPT 5.4 as my main driver. Better rate limits. More reliable. Actually available when I need it. I don't want to leave Claude Code. I've built BridgeMind with it. But I can't build a company on infrastructure I can't depend on. Anthropic, fix the reliability. Fix the rate limits. I'll come back the day you do.

@trq212 Frustrating is worst word since users paying and limits been worst from beginning itself the promos are just an excuse. Increase the limits bcos daily u guys bringing a new feature atleast bring haiku 4.6 or token efficiency model literally claude is worst when handling of tokens
