Should schools supervise brushing of teeth for children? I applaud raising awareness of dental hygiene, but schools have limited time/resources. Risk of other things being cut for this. Emphasis should be on parental responsibility so they understand importance of child's teeth.

What tasks do refugees need to do when they arrive? May have little English, understanding and money. What needs to be juggled?

This is formal but here goes. The family of Sir Tim Brighouse are very sad to announce that Tim died in the John Radcliffe Hospital today after a short illness. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and a towering figure in the word of education. 1/

@Positivteacha Please stop setting homework that needs passwords, use of devices etc. My kids spend hours stressing, teacher doesn't give feedback, what's the point? Saying that I do appreciate a homework to measure their independence its important to do that without distraction of sch IMO

Thanks to the driver who pulled out on me as I was cycling down London Road I now need a new front wheel and am suffering from a few bruises. He claimed he didn't see me, despite me moving into the middle of the lane and being able to see him. Luckily my bike has decent brakes!

Over a year later and the same message is still at the forefront of my thoughts and the reason why I became a teacher! Always remembering what we do is often beyond what anyone can imagine but it’s a force for good in a challenging world! @getintoteaching @NexusEdUK
