According to the folks placing these jersey barriers across the new @thegarneau bike lane, these are to prevent cars from diving and parking in the lanes. Also prevents cyclists from using them as well. Seriously? #yegbike @bikeedmonton @michaeljanz @CityofEdmonton

Nah. Let's not lose perspective here. The vast (vast) majority of #COVID19 transmission is indoors. We know how to make safer indoor spaces but choose not to or fail to (ahem: essential workers). Outdoors is so much safer. Move as much business & school outdoors as possible.
