@JKeynesAlpha @seriously211 Why? Trump is speaking to the radical Iranian regime in the only language they understand. In their culture, to not speak this way is a sign of weakness….

Totally unhinged and inappropriate. We are tired of this. Time for GOP senators to remove him from office. They are already facing an electoral bloodbath, nothing to lose only to gain to get rid of him now. This is the Nixon moment. Remove this mad Roman emperor. It’s time for deescalation NOT escalation. No one wants WWIII!

@BTudbubble @ryankatzrosene You have it absolutely wrong…..Trump and the Israelis will destroy the Regime and the Iranian economy…..Iran will decay into a wasteland like Afghanistan and Iraq. The US and Israeli Air Force’s will continue to pound Iranian military and completely weaken their hold on Hormuz

Trump’s actions have imbued tremendous power in the Iranian regime, while painting himself into a corner. There appears to be no way out of this mess now: Iran has zero reason to negotiate, zero trust of the Americans, and they want revenge. All they have to do is withstand another few months, and they can incur tremendous damage to Trump and their enemies (and all of us world citizens get dragged along for the ride). They can force Trump’s hand because they know a ground invasion will only increase political opposition at home. And if he pulls out now he looks weak, and even still there’d be no reason for the Iranians to open up the Strait to American ships. Will go down in the history books as one of the most colossal military failures of all time.

Trump's post on Truth Social raises fundamental questions of temperament, legality, and policy. Attacking power plants won't lead to capitulation or regime change or an open Strait but it would trigger Iranian attacks against water & energy infrastructure throughout the region.

Looking at the tweets of the President of the United States should be shameful for the American people who voted him into this office. Trump looks like a street vagabond, an old bully who never had the courage to attack North Korea or Russia, which is decimating Ukraine, but against Iran, he thinks he becomes a tiger. Who could have thought a year ago that the president of the mighty superpower would fall so low and write this kind of rhetoric ; disgusting and embarrassing to humanity, not only to the American people. But it has exposed the American value system to the world, that this is the best man they chose to lead them. He is not well. He needs to be checked! @GavinNewsom @BernieSanders America still has voices the world wants to respect. The world needs leadership, not noise. #USPolitics #Leadership #Geopolitics #MiddleEast #Iran #Ukraine #WorldPolitics #Democracy #HumanRights #GlobalStability

This is an actual post. This is not funny. This is beyond desperate. This is a deeply unwell man who doesn’t belong anywhere near the levers of power. Every member of his cabinet and Congress is complicit in not demanding his removal now.

Does anyone think this is the appropriate way for the President of the United States to behave? Threatening to commit crimes against the people of Iran? Openly promising to target non-military targets? How is that different than terrorism? What has happened to our country?

Folks, seriously. This is simply not okay. We must do better. He is unfit. He is a poor moral example for young people. He is angry. He is disrespectful. He cannot remain President of these United States. This is not normal. Nor is it acceptable. He must be removed. Republicans step up!

@IAmSophiaNelson Since the Republicans are not taking action they condone this lunacy so hopefully the American Public will remember this when the mid terms come around and not give one vote to the Republicans. Any votes for the Republicans is a vote for insanity and anarchy.

@gambit2pawns @Christoff0001 @brentcutburth @MattH_4America The facts and finance calculations don’t lie……it takes less of the median household income to afford the median home today than it did from 1979-1990. You’ve busted nothing……you are simply poor at finance. That explains a lot about the situation many find themselves today

For most Americans under the age of 45, the American Dream is dead To everyone over the age of 60, married, with 3 kids, 7 grandkids, and a home that is paid for, just understand this: Your country will radically change in the next 10-15 years because no one is listening to us

@Christoff0001 @gambit2pawns @brentcutburth @MattH_4America You validated my accurate statements and facts. It was more difficult to afford a home from 1979 to 1990……a 12 year period. This is not cherry picking. Boomers of my generation made better financial decisions, were disciplined, lived below our means and saved money.

@guwinster @MysticStock @gearoidmurphy_ You can’t be serious thinking that double digit mortgage rates for 12 years and +9% for 14 years made homes more affordable than today? Also, look up what the term “median” means…… It’s no wonder that people are upset today. They have no idea what the 1980’s were like

@rdqBlueRidge @MysticStock @gearoidmurphy_ A) they were 12% just a couple years earlier and a couple years after. B) "Mystic" says they had an 11.5% rate C) even if you had a 16% rate you could refinance to 10% by '86, less than 5 years later. D) at 21k income "Mystic" would have had a 42k house.

A better comparison is whether the boomer could buy the house they live in with the current wage for the job and experience level they had when they originally bought it. So if you were a 30yo bus driver when you bought your house, what house would you get now as a 30yo bus driver.
Shiv Malik@shivmalik

Dear boomers, can you afford to buy the house you live in currently with the wage you used to earn before you retired? If you can’t, then that’s the whole housing problem in a nutshell. It really is that simple to understand.

THEY CELEBRATED A RESCUE AND FORGOT TO MENTION THE DISASTER They celebrated "most daring rescue in US history." Forgot to mention the jet was shot down by a missile that shouldn't exist. They celebrated getting the Colonel out alive. Forgot to mention he was TRAPPED for 48 hours climbing a 7,000ft ridge. They celebrated the dozens of aircraft in the extraction. Forgot to mention two helicopters got hit and an A-10 was shot down too. They celebrated Trump's "WE GOT HIM" moment. Forgot to mention this war was supposed to be over 2 weeks ago. Week 6 of a 4-week war. 13,000 sorties. And they're still losing jets. BUT SURE. WE GOT HIM. follow me.. the next post is even crazier.

@rdqBlueRidge @MysticStock @gearoidmurphy_ I did the math. It should take 5-5.5 years to pay off, so I guess I stand corrected. If the house was 100k, then the total interest (at 11.5%) would be ~32k after 5 years. Just put half your 50k salary into the loan and it would be paid of in a little over 5 years.
