@ChrisMasonBBC Please focus more on the excellent report written by the Privileges Committee. It is so factual and carefully written. There is too much about criticism from Johnson & his allies which is nonsense without clarity about why this is unfounded.

My husband has dementia and I've been wonderfully supported by the Admiral Nurses when things were challenging. I've joined the Dementia UK May fundraising event. Any sponsorship however small would be much appreciated! Thank you! facebook.com/donate/9704644…

@BBCRosAtkins I strongly disagree with the BBC's decision to force Gary to step back from MOTD, and their contradictory stance on allowing him to have an opinion but not express it on political issues. The government crossing the line cannot be met with silence. We must speak up #StandwithGary

The BBC says that Gary Lineker is to step back from #MOTD til he & the BBC reach agreement on his social media use. In 2021, Gary Lineker talked to The Media Show about twitter & how Tim Davie had never called to say 'you can't tweet about that'. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-649205…

@hilarybennmp @GaryLineker Gary you are standing up for free speech. Lucy Powell: ‘rightwing media frenzy obsessed with undermining the BBC’. This must stop. What can we do?

One word sums up the BBC’s actions in respect of @GaryLineker and David Attenborough. Craven.

@BBCRosAtkins Please publicise this frightening bonfire of legislation. It is so risky and so little known. The public need to wake up to the dangers. How can the BBC ignore the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill? @GoodLawProject

@thalialinney @TheDailyShow Those laws are now domestic law. We can change them. What is now UK Law, 2,400 pieces of legislation, is being binned in 2023. Ministers (not parliament) have a few weeks to decide on eg holiday rights, food standards & businesses. Scary.

Meet Rishi Sunak, Britain's new PM who is only 42, meaning he'll probably serve well into his 42-and-a-halves

@Jeremy_Hunt How can you restore stability in the face of binning core legislation? Think clearly! Withdraw the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill. You’re meant to be sensible. Businesses need clarity!

Tory Ministers are asking the House of Commons today to give them the unprecedented power to scrap EU-derived law - on things like food and product safety - simply by doing nothing. This is because of the automatic sunset clause in the Retained EU Law Bill. Shocking.

@DavidLammy As a lawyer please reveal the full significance of the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill. It scraps over 2,400 pieces of legislation. It’s madness. It must be stopped.

@BBCBreaking Please could the BBC stop showing old coverage of Boris Johnson ad nauseam. The analysis of the current leadership race should focus on central issues of integrity and the promotion of policies in the best interests of the people.
