It’s been an issue for tech workers for a long time - closing us out of jobs to (predominately Indian) techies who had no clue, no communication (or other) skills, but were cheap project headcount. This sh*! was encouraged by every Chamber of Commerce, hastening the demise of middle class careers across the country.

Nothing to do with the post but I was looking through old photos and found this one from an event I organized as Dir of Bloomingades in the 90s. James Woods was the perfect gentleman and was gracious enough to take a photo with me. Glad he is on the right.
