ANNOUNCEMENT: I have found it necessary to switch on the central heating in my home for ONE hour. I know it is only 13 September. This decision was not taken lightly. Presiding factors - loss of feeling in limbs & frostbite setting in. I shall not be taking any questions.

The way she said "Sir, I have just watched you walk right past the men's changing rooms in an attempt to enter this one. So you can just walk right on back to it" was truly a thing of beauty.

@teachwellall What a bunch of idiotic replies confirming this idiotic tweet. Can you imagine saying to professional footballers: "Just listen to what we want you to do, we don't want you to practice it". Our professional is infested with pious prats.

@teachwellall Exactly. Do you see doctors sitting in waiting rooms to be reminded of how long their patients sit for? Do you see Lawyers sitting in prisons to see the impact of their work? Trust the professional. They’ve earned it.

We’re having a fantastic Inset Day @TheWellsAcademy! @NAveyard has reminded us of our core routines linked to upholding a culture of high expectations, including meet and greet, end and send, corridor culture and line ups. Sweating the small stuff! Leaving nothing to chance!

Dear @marksandspencer please do better. One changing mat in the women’s toilets meaning I have to use the toilet with the door open because there’s no space for both myself and the pushchair. Then this is lack of privacy you give to the disabled changing room.

Best teacher planners? I only really want week to view with space to write brief overview of lessons, note pages and and mark keeping space. It also needs to be dated!

FE needs to get in front of more runners, cyclists, swimmers and walkers - so I'm thinking about posting more. But it only makes sense if you, dear reader, can help me share the news. Can you do that? Please like this if you're a-willing.

@ICT_MrP Had a whole school meeting with the CEO who told us we were getting to vote on changing the holiday dates to help our wellbeing. Meeting finished early. We were told to spend the rest of the time ‘talking about the changes’. Most of us walked out.

Today has been the best kind of reminder of how teaching, in the right place, with the right culture and the right people, truly is the best job in the world.

Yesterday afternoon my wife took the twins out with her sisters for a meal in Archway, North London whilst I took Henry to to the pub with our friends. My daughter Darla had a fit (febrile convulsion) whilst they was walking towards the restaurant on the pavement outside Home Bargains. A young couple helped my wife and her sister. And took them to whittington hospital straight away in their car. My wife didn’t get a chance to say thank you properly as she run in whilst my baby still having a fit. Darla is now stable and doing well and back home. But I really want to thank this couple. They are absolute Legends and hero’s. Can you all please help me find this lovely young couple who helped my family. I want to thank them and treat them as they took Sinéad and baby Darla to the hospital very quickly and if they wasn’t there it could have been another story. Darla is her happy little self this morning and back to normal. Thanks you every one and happy Sunday. Now both twins have had a febrile convulsion, they are extremely scary. Thank you to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Whittington Hospital. If you know this couple please can you give me their number or email. Thank you. Please share or rt. Bosh❤️
