The more you cook at home and actually work on getting better at it, the harder it is to pay restaurant prices for underwhelming food. Eating out still makes sense to me for birthdays with extended family, special occasions, or something I truly cannot make as well at home. But a $30 tab for “fine” food is harder to justify once you know you could make a better dinner at home for less.

This is the issue I have with “girl dads.” Men like this end up spoiling their daughters to the point of entitlement. A girl who is used to getting everything she wants from her father will grow up expecting the same from a future husband. “Girl dads” end up displaying pushover behavior, then demand that young men do the same for their daughters. So many of them resent young men today because we refuse to put their daughters on a pedestal the same way they did with their daughters and wives. We will not spoil your “little princess” anymore.

At 37, the best thing i did was quit my job at 25 and take a sabbatical. I see so many in 30-40’s wish they did, but can’t for 1 reason or another. For me, i have no desire anymore. Your 20’s are a time to be bold, dont waste it!
