Been extending @ccatalini’s framework around verification costs (cH), feedback latency (tfb), and verifiable share (sv). One shift that seems important: As cH ↓ (toward compute-bound levels), systems may move from verification-constrained → attention-constrained i.e. the bottleneck is no longer can this be verified? but what gets verification bandwidth? This makes filtering endogenous: agents compete not just on signal, but on capturing attention. Potential failure mode: cheap verification → signal flooding → optimization for “verifiability under attention constraints” (Goodhart pressure) Open question: does reducing cH improve system quality, or just relocate the constraint?

Many of us want accountability from the govt for the NEET 2026 paper leak that forced 22lakh students to take one of the country's toughest exams twice. The stress of the re-exam forced 15 students to take their own life! Yet the same many of us can't bring ourselves to support CJP. Not because the cause is wrong, but because the messenger is. The optics, the political baggage (AAP) & clubbing these students' fight with unrelated causes have diluted, even made a joke of a serious injustice. The CJP movement lacks the credibility that a protest the NEET students deserved.

Even if we assume they have backing of right wing. 2 questions arise: is that backing pro Modi/shah or anti. If anti, it’s politically astute to support them. If pro, Congress should call their bluff by supporting and dragging them full range to the left of issues. Your position is politically naive in both situations.

A question for @Wangchuk66 : Since when, and under what circumstances, has Sonam Wangchuk known Abhijeet Dipke? When and how did the two develop the trust and political resolve to work together? Why did a 30-year-old student from Maharashtra, living in Boston, and a 59-year-old social activist from Ladakh suddenly come together at Jantar Mantar? What did they have in common that led them to sit together at this political gathering? Until Sonam Wangchuk gives answers that satisfy you, it would be dangerous to regard this political spectacle as a genuine public movement. I already know the answers. That is precisely why I strongly oppose them. You should seek your answers directly from Sonam Wangchuk. May he have the courage to tell the truth, and may you have the courage to hear it.
