I work with US-based owner/CEOs with cash‑flow rich businesses, who want to spin up a parallel B2B/B2G software company… You bring: - A profitable core business - Clear problems your customers will happily pay to solve - Budget to build something real, not an MVP I bring: - Interim/fractional CTO who architects, ships, and sells - 120+ companies across 80+ industries - Ability to sit in the deal room with you and your investors If you want your existing company to be customer #1 of a serious new software business – and you need someone to own the tech end‑to‑end – DM me “CTO”

@pmarca Yup. And it gets easier. Once I learned you can launch a new co and just acquire/rollup companies as a growth strategy instead of guessing on marketing things started to work better.

Many highly successful people are saying.
sourcery@sourceryy

.@mlevchin spent "zero minutes" introspecting on his failed companies: "I kept going because I realized I liked the journey as much, if not more than the destination." "The day my co-founders and I declared our first company dead, I found myself thinking, 'What will be the next one?'" "I took exactly zero hours or minutes contemplating, 'Is this the right thing for me to do?'"

So are marketplaces en vogue again? All the AI and SaaS investors keep posting about them and network effects.

The weirdest thing about being a public figure is seeing how often credible media outlets get basic, easily verifiable facts wrong.

Unpopular opinion: if we don’t dramatically increase doctor salaries, we are going to continue to bleed our best and brightest to other places

Used to be upset that boomers got to buy land at $5/acre But there are literally 1000s of these kinds of opportunities

As an early-stage investor, I don’t want to talk to your CFO co-founder about the raise. I want to hear from the CEO. If you’re an early-stage CEO, don’t outsource your fundraise.

Building things like spaceships and data centers *is* how great people fix things and make Earth a better place for humans. It’s not dumping money on homeless people, which is an infinite sinkhole that will do nothing to stop homelessness and will actually make it worse.
daz@MetamateDaz

I genuinely don't understand people like Bezos and Musk. If I had billions of dollars, I would just start fixing everything. Homeless veterans sleeping on the streets? Not on my watch. Hungry children going to bed with empty stomachs? Hell no. They could be making life better but instead choose to build spaceships and data centers to pump stocks and destroy the planet

Took my kids out of school 2 years ago. They're now 2 years ahead on curriculum. We combine homeschooling with focused activities. The homeschooling network in Dubai is unmatched. They are happier, fitter, more engaged, courteous. They have deep social connections with friends they actually relate to......as opposed to choosing from a limited pool of school-based friends. We travel the world. We focus on entrepreneurship, AI, investing. I teach them about startups and ownership. We still get the typical looks and comments. I genuinely do not care. The first 6 months were weird, overwhelming, felt like we were doing wrong by them. But generally? Great decision. Can't think of a single negative thus far. Truth be told... it's the way the world is heading.

I was right with every company I’ve ever started But didn’t have the capital to do what was necessary. This means that now I can self fund them all

I believe nobody should be forced to pay taxes, but we should be allowed to fund the things we want to; and if those things get canceled, the money gets returned to us. But I do believe that the wealthy, and ultrawealthy should be more philanthropic. Just in whatever direction they are comfortable being, and not forcing it to go to government. But I also know this would shrink government to sizes it's not been in a century or more, and the closer governments gets to non-existent, the less of a buffer it can play during crises times, meaning more people die during those periods, which leads to higher stress, reduced birth rates, and more death, and knockoff events from those, so smaller population... which means less easy life, fewer resources, and it can spiral. So maybe not exactly what I'm saying, or at least, pay attention to the evolving situation at the very least.
