As a portion of the main road at Meino Leirak has been completed, work on the remaining interior roads will also begin soon, including the road at Meino Leirak Maisnam Nongthombam Leikai. Following this, road development works at Thangjam Leirak and Amudon will also be taken up. As per the proposal of the nearby localities, Cleaning of Bijoy Govinda Thangapat (moat) commenced few days back. Heartfelt thanks to all the locality volunteers who stepped forward for this important initiative. With the aerator currently missing from the moat, the rapid growth of water weeds has become a serious concern in recent times.
