@Gavin_McInnes I agree. And Ozzy Osbourne WAS Sabbath. There’s zero comparison to Dio; it’s not even the same band. Ozzy’s solo stuff post-Sabbath destroys all the “Sabbath” albums that were done without him. Not even close!

Only three bands in history improved after losing their original singer: 1- Black Flag 2- AC/DC 3- Iron Maiden Everyone else failed. Yes, that includes Van Halen and Black Sabbath.

@Rogers @Sportsnet you are a disgrace. You raise my monthly plan by 30% and can’t deliver the service. This happened last game and you haven’t fixed it you absolute clowns.

@cselley We also don’t treat them as adults in the Criminal Justice system. I am perfectly willing to let them vote at 16, if they are subject to the same justice system as all other voters.

These are almost impossibly stupid arguments, and yet you hear them all the time. • 16-year-olds can drive *with significant restrictions*. Should their votes be restricted? • Their critical health wishes can be overruled. • They need parental consent to enlist.
Maclean’s Magazine@macleans

16-year-old Canadians can drive, get legally emancipated, make critical health decisions and enroll as officers in the Canadian Armed Forces. Why can’t they vote? macleans.ca/politics/lower…

@kristynwongtam Seventy-seven percent of Canadians don’t receive door-to-door delivery. Why should they subsidize those that do?

Ottawa wants to cancel Canada Post door-to-door mail delivery. So let's talk about it. Canada Post workers hit above their weight. They break their backs getting door-to-door mail service to Canadians and businesses regardless of the weather or road conditions. I cannot imagine UPS or FedEx delivering my new health card or credit card in the mail for $1.44. I will bet anything that if Canada Post stops the door-to-door service, we will see more vandalism at community mail boxes and identity fraud go up. Not to mention, consumers will end up paying way more for letter and parcel delivery if Canada Post eliminates door-to-door service, since they help keep costs low since their mandate is to deliver mail to Canadians and not massive profits to US shareholders and global investors. I stand with CUPW members as they strike across the country for their labour rights and protection of Canadian public services. The message is clear: rural and northern communities and all Canadians deserve essential postal services, and postal workers deserve job security while navigating change, not job cuts. The @ontariondp is always on the side of labour and working people. I know when workers fight back, we win!

If you could join one band on stage to sing along to their greatest hit… Who are you hopping on stage with and what song are you performing?

According to Metallica’s website: #OnThisDay - Sept. 7th 1988 Metallica releases powerful album, And Justice For All. It includes Metallica’s second best song, Blackened. Creeping Death from Ride The Lightning remains at No. 1

Hmmm. @HMcPhersonMP sends thoughts to the Jewish victim of a hate crime saying she stands with them. Hours later she supports a man whose comments fuel the said hate crime. I don’t believe she had a single thought toward the victim. Not at all. #hypocrisy #cdnpoli

@MarcMillerVM If you don’t have out of control temporary resident population growth rent inflation is less of an issue. Your former government failed all of us.

@BarbaraPatroci @QPBriefing Except construction trades make up a very small percentage of immigration. The Feds brought in record numbers of immigrants and failed to increase the pool of trades people. Your argument for increased immigration only works if you prioritize the right skills.

If the best case you’ve got is “maybe he’ll suck less now” he shouldn’t hold one of the most important Ministries in government
Eric Lombardi (EricForOLP.ca) 🇨🇦🚀@EricDLombardi

Look, I’ll be first to acknowledge that Gregor Robertson did not have a great housing record as Mayor of Vancouver (2008-2018). That said, a ton of federal housing promises are conditional on municipal cooperation. And @MarkJCarney has shown little indication he is willing to negotiate directly with premiers on housing (😓). Housing advocates should give @gregorrobertson an opportunity on this file. Big city mayors are often hamstrung by councillors on reform. A housing minister who understands the bad incentives at play in municipal governance could be surprisingly effective. Especially if his opinions have grown and evolved. The message from the campaign was supply-focused. Many people’s opinions have changed on housing issues since the 2010s. Especially in Toronto/Vancouver.

Look, maybe it helps Robertson saw patient zero of the housing crisis up close. But ditching @beynate - tremendous communicator, great grasp of the issues - for a guy whose record is so easy to attack the ad writers can get drunk by lunch is a potentially troubling Carney choice
