But you want to give their country to the invaders and colonizers. Presumably your ancestors moved out of Ireland of their own volition, like mine moved out of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, the German lands, and Scandinavia. But if the entire German, or Scandinavian, or English, or Scottish people were attacked and forced to flee, and continued to exist as a distinct people for the 800 years you’re talking about then yes, I figure they’d have a case. But that didn’t happen. Irish society continued to exist and developed as Irish society for all that time. No, you don’t have a right to sell your house then come back years later and take it from the ones you sold it to. The Jewish people did literally buy the land, incidentally, and at inflated prices. A more apropos comparison would be what’s happening today with the uncontrolled Muslim migration into Ireland and attacks against Irish people. Also relevant, the people who never called themselves “Palestinians” until 1964 never really built anything of permanence, not structurally and not civilizationally. That was in part because they weren’t really there continuously and permanently. They were itinerant, and moved in and out, nomadic, with very many moving into the area in the 19th and 20th centuries from all around the surrounding region for economic opportunities created by the Jewish people. Some people build civilizations. Some people don’t. All of the archeological history there is Jewish. The civilization whose traces turn up every time somebody digs a hole there is Jewish. And half of Jewish Israelis are Mizrahi. The Middle East and North Africa are the only places they have ever lived, for thousands of years. Your settler narrative is not aligned with the far deeper, continuous, and more subtle reality.

Jews didn’t vanish from the land of Israel 2,000 years ago to magically re-appear in 1948. Despite foreign occupation, exiles, discrimination, and massacres, Jews maintained an unbroken connection to their homeland. This synagogue in Ma’on is another example of Jews living in their homeland, under occupation, hoping for independence again even after the revolts of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 7th centuries.

Let’s be clear on something. If someone starts a war and then loses it, that’s not genocide. Furthermore, if the victim of this so-called genocide can make it end the second they want to, that too is not genocide. Hamas, with the support of the majority of Gaza (according to any and all polls) attacked Israel and lost. That’s not genocide. If any of Israel’s enemies put down their weapons and stop attacking Israel, there will be peace immediately. All Hamas had to do and has to do is lay down its weapons and the war ends. They don’t want to because they want to keep attacking Israel? When Israel retaliates, that’s not called genocide. And for all you morons saying Israel killed tens of thousands of children in Gaza, kindly answer me two questions: 1- What is your source for those numbers? Spoiler: I know the answer. It’s the Gaza health ministry. They’re the only source for Gaza numbers. Israel didn’t release any official numbers. Who do you think runs said ministry? If you guessed Hamas, you win 10 points. 2- If Israel killed all those tens of thousands of innocent people, since you know the exact numbers, tell me, how many terrorists did Israel kill? I ask because remember the Gaza health ministry? Yea, they don’t differentiate between civilian and terrorist. They also don’t differentiate between someone who died in war and someone who died from natural causes. In other words, when you go around claiming Israel committed genocide and killed tens of thousands of innocent people in Gaza, you are walking around quoting rapists and pedophiles who lie when they breathe. Israel has never started a war. Israel has also never lost a war. Oh, and one more thing. If Israel wanted to commit genocide in Gaza, if Israel wanted to kill every Gazan like these idiots claim, there would be no buildings standing and no Gazan breathing. Think. Use your brain. Even if you believe the ridiculous 70,000 number, divide that by the amount of bombs Israel dropped (assuming the math isn’t too hard for you.) and what you’ll get is the opposite of genocide. If Israel is so strong like you claim it is when you accuse Israel of retaliating disproportionately, then how did israel, according to Hamas’ own numbers not kill millions? Wanna know why? Because Israel never set out to commit anything even remotely resembling genocide. Israel never set out to flatten Gaza or kill all Gazans. Israel’s objectives for the war in Gaza are clear as are the objectives in Iran and Lebanon. Glad we cleared that up. Does this look like genocide to you?
