Reposting this because what if some of the changes to Perimeter are a direct result of our collective Runners polluting the environment

I actually just thought of an excellent question and an idea. The Runners are bio-synthetic that bleed blue blood, and with each Runner that dies their blood spills onto the ground, the flora, into the water. What is the blood made of and what is the environmental impact to Tau Ceti IV with all of those chemicals seeping into the world? I really want to see that expanded upon
