Here in Europe polticians and governments on the right and the left continue to cooperate, talk, and even support each other when faced by an outside challenge. Compare that to Latin America where left-wing and right-wing governments live in alternate realities, hardly talk with each other and completely overhaul their entire foreign policy once a new government takes over.
