Today I learned that in 2007, ASO banned Unibet's ProTour team from competing in their races, due to a conflict with the French gambling laws. Those laws imposed a state monopoly on gambling sponsors, only allowing French ones, banning foreign ones.

Seen a group of over 60s from Middlesbrough today in the Eagle who said that @ShitChester is better than York. I think that ends the debate

@AdamDandy @ShitChester There was a load of traffic built up on Boughton on Monday as drivers were thinking the bus lanes had been reinstated and we're trying to move across. As you mentioned, we need a more permanent solution as they were a Boris government idea that was quickly reversed

3 near misses I’ve seen in the past few weeks where people in the left lane passing the Countess Hospital leaving Chester, and passing the Dale Barracks coming towards Chester, think the suspended bus lanes are active and they come across into the right hand lane almost hitting the car next to them, godforbid someone does collide and push the other person into a head on collision with someone coming the other way. The 3 yellow signs aren’t enough, especially for visitors to the City. If the bus lanes aren’t going ahead, at some point we need to bite the bullet and erase them. Or at the very least erase the dashed filter lines at the start of each lane. 🙏 @Go_CheshireWest @ShitChester @chestertweetsuk

@ShitChester I can’t work out if you’re being sarcastic? The trial was a disaster with traffic backed up onto the roundabout which blocked traffic coming from Liverpool Rd and was dangerous. People who use the underpass say it’s clean and safe so why is this needed?
