São notícias diárias de proporções gigantescas, como o escândalo do INSS ou dos contratos milionários envolvendo o Banco Master e ministros, além de pessoas ligadas ao Governo Lula. E a pergunta que fica é: por que nenhuma tem a repercussão e indignação do que aconteceu hoje? I’ve seen it all now. I’ve been talking about congressional redistricting in Mississippi ad nauseam. In fact, I was the first state senator to push for a 4R-0D map and demand that liberal Bennie Thompson finally be evicted from Congress. Yet today, when @DelbertHosemann formed a select committee to discuss redistricting, I wasn’t even included. Instead, he put two of the most liberal, anti-Trump Democrats in the State Senate on it. Read that again. Democrats who benefit from keeping Bennie Thompson in Congress are now helping shape the conversation on whether Bennie Thompson’s district should even exist in Mississippi. Then again, maybe it’s not that surprising. This is the same establishment that tried to redraw our senate district into Democrat territory last year, and now they’re going to decide whether Mississippi fights for another Republican congressional seat. If we are having a serious conversation about removing Bennie Thompson from Washington, it does not involve Democrats leading the discussion. I do think Massie started out in public service for the right reasons and doing the right things. In March of 2012 he signed an oath to support term limits. He violated the first promise he made- to only serve 3 terms. He even wanted to make that law. He’s now running for his 8th term. The swamp consumed him.
