I’m today years old when I found out our government barleys sits for 5 months of the year and then doesn’t for the other 7….. I never knew this. Is this normal in other provinces? #nlpoli

MHAs will leave the House tomorrow & they won't sit again until the middle of Oct. This means no new legislation will be tabled/approved or no formal debate between parties. Essentially, there's no way for us to hold our gov't accountable for the next 20 weeks.

@CBCNews Stopping anyone from stealing taxpayer's property/resources directly with crimes or indirectly with false claims of discrimination is always a good thing.
If not, the takers will come in droves and the amounts taken will be 100x what it was here.

@sandramurphy400 @NLCLASS1 @DeafNL In the 9 years since NSD was closed, no person or organization, deaf or hearing, has done anything to remove the social isolation of deaf children in mainstream schools. It took a hearing person, my wife, to break barriers. I am so proud of her for that.

Did you know that teachers are NOT PAID for the days of preparation prior to the start of classes and they spend a lot of thier own money on supplies and teaching aids. Thats dedication but is it fair? I don't think do. @NLESDCA @NLTeachersAssoc @NLFOSC won
